V13 - Crash when modifying responsive Footer - smallest viewport  en

Hi, - I am on V13 - GREAT features laughing, specially for responsive viewports which can be configured individually.

However, what happened to me several times (it is a project started in V13, so not converted, template is Arts Photography 11).

Customize template. Headers work 100%. But when I tried to adapt the smallest viewport of the Footer (after editing an object), the program can get stuck. Just doesn't update the pannel, no preview. Tried to save the project - 93% or so. Hat to kill the task.

When re-opening, it says "has been incorrectly closed". Usually, I get the thing to work after a few tries without too much loss, but it happened to me twice, and it's ugly.

Any clues ?

Hello Christian,

Please try to update the program with the latest update when you start the program and then test it again.

Please keep me updated.

Hello Claudio,

Thanks- I installed tha patch and tested, could not reproduce the situations so far.

Indeed, the crashes I had in 2 situations always involved textboxex, so the height calculation problem is plausible. The other situation involved a textbox places before a form, and both were displayed over the footer.

Just one opportunity for improvement regarding forms (off topic): Then Filter for tel numbers should allow the +, since we often mention telephone numbers as +41 79 253 36 28 instead of 0041 ..

Thanks for your quick reply, I appreciate. Great software great service.

Oops - calculation of height of Textbox in V13. update 27.10.2016 seems to be a little too generous now.

In the attached examples, I just edited point 5) - and it grew much too long. Only in 2 columns modus, in1 column viewport, it is ok. See examples before and after.

Also on-line readyforachange.ch, page 2

Best regards

Christian

Sorry, above problem seems to have disappeared after a close and re-open of X5, and re-post. A left-over in the program buffer ? Strange. IT is not a precise science, I know that from my own experience laughing.
