I have noticed that others are wanting to do the same.

Are there any user guides / tips available?

I need to evaluate my options before deciding on a migration path.

Thanks

Thanks Samantha,
Yes I can see what Website X5 will do for me in building a website.
But I, like many others, have several websites built using Serif WebPlus and will be looking for another tool.
So ease of migration will be the key.

Is there any help or advice available?

Hi John!

Thank you for your answer!
The migration process depends a bit on what kind of websites you have now and what result you wish to achieve.
I guess the best thing you can do as for a start, is:

  • open your website online and start a new project on WebSite X5
  • create and name the pages you will need in your website
  • adjust mai menu, page menu and text style in the customization section and create your template in the template structure section.
Please note that if your website is online you can download all the images you already have and simply add them into WebSite X5. Once this has been done, you can simply adjust size and margins and your template is ready.
  • Now you can create your page content in step 4 by simply using the easy drag & drop feature and adding what you need.
Remember that you can copy-paste the text from your website online to speed up things for you.

Please feel free to open a post and our Staff will be happy to help you if you have any questions or if you request further assistance.

Thank you!
Samantha
