i have a webpage with very long lenth.. i want to add the button "go to top" which will take user to the top menu of the page.
kindly help me how to do the same

Just create a text or picture to mention " goto top " , use the link option on this text (website page), use link to the same page.

If you mean that the text goto top is always in your screen you need to look for an script on internet and integrate it in x5.
X5 does not have that function build in.
If you would like it I suggest creating an IDEA Post for Incomedia, maybe they will devolop that in future updates / versions.
