Problem with Pro 11
Autore: Ian S.Hi
I have recently upgraded to Website X5 Pro 11 from Pro 10 and have a problem. When I edit my websites and then upload the newer versions I have pictures missing and html link code showing instead of the image it is attached to. The offending website works fine in Preview, the pictures show if loaded locally but the HTML link is still incorrect. My other websites using the same code, layout and pictures are OK. Please have a look at the following links to see what I mean:
http://www.barelancla.com/en/our-menus.html this one is OK and good
http://www.barelancla.com/es/nuestros-menus.html this one has the errors mentioned above (see header for HTML links) and missing pictures left and right of body text.
http://www.barelancla.com/de/unsere-menues.html good links but no photos!
http://www.barelancla.com/it/i-nostri-menu.html this is the old version created in Website X5 Pro 10.
The only thing i have changed is the template and the position of the header links. Can anyone offer suggestions as to why this is happening.

Hi, the problem is not solved but identified as being the 'Image Generation Error' where Website X5 does not create the file needed in the files that are uploaded. I can only assume that when viewin locally or via preview it is picking up the images from the folder which is referenced. A work-around is to create a folder on your host to hold the pictures and fully reference them with the "http://www.yourdomain.com/mypics/picture01.jpg" this is extra work but seems to avoid the problem.
Please Incomedia sort the error of Image Generation.

Yes, but that post was private as it contained other information. In my update to this post I identify a work around for the benefit of others who are having similar problems. Just trying to help, sorry.
Please close this post if it causes confusion.
