Shopping cart availability and stock control

Hi,
There are 2 things that are really frustrating me and I would like to ask about. Both questions are regarding shopping cart.
- How come that he shopping cart does not have the availability option in the X5 evolution release? In my mind this is a must have function when you give people the possibility to make web-shops.
- I have read in another thread that it’s not possible to set an automatic stock control in the software.
As far as I remember the answer did not come from Incomedia staff. I have tried to figure this out but no luck.
If this is true, than as the owner of the web shop I would have to be glued to the screen to manually control my stock just to avoid committing myself to deliver items that I don’t have in stock.
I am fairly new to website X5 but from what I can see, right now the shopping cart function is useless to me.
Has anyone encountered the same problem? if so is there any solution to this issue?

Roni, I am the one who suggested to incomedia and I am still waiting for that feature and I own pro series (10 and 11) still no stock control.

At the moment this function is still no present in the program and unfortuntately I cannot tell you if and when it will be added in the program.
The the requests and suggestions made, also in the past, are still kept in consideration for the future releases of the program and when they will be added this will be notified trough the official channels like as example the changelog http://www.websitex5.com/changelog/v11

If I am not mistaken this suggestion is been out there for a while, it’s just too bad that it still not implemented. If Incomedia could implement this function, it would make the software much more attractive for current other users as well.
