Can I run X5 without a URL

I'm stuck at General Settings as the programme wants a URL.
I don't have a website yet, so no URL.
I want to:
1. Set up a Home Page on my computer that loads with IE, so ideally I want the "URL" to be my C Drive.
2. Play around with a website design (viewed on the computer) and get it just right before taking the plunge to get a website of my own.
Can I use my C:/ drive rather that a URL (or as the URL)?

you can leave it empty or just put test.com
after you finish go back and change the url to valid url. some functions like email form will not work if you dont set a url on your website.

Thanks.
When I left it empty the programme refused to move on, just kept telling me I needed a URL.
Placing TEST.COM into the box did nowever work.
