I recently purchased the electronic version of WebsiteX5. After the file was successfully downloaded, I attempted to install the software. My Norton security software immediately removed it and reports the file location is untraceable and that the file is corrupt.

that is a reputation report, that does not mean that has virus.
open your norton, go to performance and click on the yellow !, the choose the report about the downloaded file, you will see a restore option, restore it back to your hard drive.
