Website X5 Ver 9 Update
Autore: Jim F.I have just migrated to a new PC. I have installed website X5 evolution 9 that I purchased and on trying to import my projects I get a message "The specified Project cannot be opened because it was created with a later version of Website X5(9.1.12.1975)."
So I try to run the update (the program tells me there is an update available) the process begins, I have to agree to the terms and conditions, it begins installing the update and it progresses for to about 25% and then I get "Error while Updating: 404 It was not possible to Connect to Internet or to the Incomedia Server. This Could be a temporary problem: we suggest you try again later."
Depsite several attempts to "try again later" the result is the same and its not my internet connection - I suspect your server is timing out! Is there some where I can download Website X5(9.1.12.1975) as a file and install it manually please - I need to get at my websites!!!!!!!
you can always download the lates version of the program from here, go inside your profile (top of the page next to the flag) then choose Download.
every version that you purchase has a link inside your profile, as long as you registered them with this email address/profile.

No this is not the correct answer! The only versions I can download from inside my profile are Version 10 and 11 - I specifically want to download version 9.1.12.1975!
Hello Jim,
you probably registered Version 9 with a different email. On this email there is no version 9. You need to login with the email you used for version 9 and then you will find the donwload link. As alternative for the 404 problem try to check if the antivirus/firewall is blocking the connection to the update server by adding websitex5.exe and register.exe in the whitelist of your antivirus/firewall so they can connect.
Many thanks!
