Hello,
I have recently purchased Evo.. 10,
I'm having issue with 'Generic error', I have tried to upload my website using website x5 evolution 10 several times, every attempt is resulted with 'generic error' i have double checked with my host ( hostgator ) ftp address, user name and password and port. I have also tried with firewall and antivirus off.
For the timebeen i have uploaded the website using 'filezilla', but the alignments are not correct / not in order also the email form is not working, every time a viewer tries to send me a his data, it shows " Data will be sent to e-mail address ' My Email ' when the WebSite is uploaded on the server"

Hello Althaf,
Can you please send me the screenshot of the error you get and also tell me what windows version you are using?
To upload it with filezilla you need to export the html files in step 5 with the option export to disk. If you upload the files you find in the preview folder then the email form will not work since these are only preview files but not the files meant to be uploaded online.
Many thanks!

Hello Althaf,
Try to repair the .NET Frameworks by following these steps:
To repair the .NET Frameworks 3.5 and 4 you need as first to use following cleanup tool to remove .NET 4:
http://cid-27e6a35d1a492af7.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Blog_Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
Once done go to Control Panel then choose Programs and Features and then click on Turn Windows features on or off. Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1
This procedure can take some time to deactivate and activate .NET 3.5.1 and once done reinstall .NET 4 after downloading it from following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718
Once done try to export again to see if then it works.
The alternative procedure to upload it with filezilla is to go to step 5 and choose export to disk and then you can upload these files. In this way the email form will work correctly.
Please keep me updated.
