Can the image in the default templates be changed? I found a default template that I like but can't figure out how to change the image to one that is more suitable to what I need.

And, yes you can, goto step 1 -> template style -> template structure.
click on the picture you want to change, then select on the left (image file) your own picture then press ok.
thats it.
