Getting a .NET error and then another faulting error within win10 for x5v10
Autore: Ron D.Recently upgraded from win 7 to win10 and have x5 v10 professional. Getting an error everytime I bring up the program. If I say cancel, I can get into the program to update it and it shows it updates to verion .57 but I still get the error. This also does not let me edit in page creation mode so I am unable to use the program like this. I am including screen shots of what I get as well as the event modules that show the errors generated. Please le me know if there is any thing I can do help this disappear. I have tried to remove and reinstall .NET 3 and 4.5 as well as the program using regular install and revo as well as IOBit uninstaller. I have also cleaned the registry after removal of all the above to make sure nothing was sticking around.

Hello Ron,
Try to uninstall the program again and then download the latest installer from the download section of your profile here on answers and then install it again.
Should you receive again the same error message, please open the details tab and copy the content and send it to me in the next post.
Many thanks!
Autore
Did so using revo uninistaller and same errors. Here is the detail from the error tab that pops up.

I also should let you know that I was able to install it on a win10 32 bit netbook as a work around, but not the way I want to go, need it more on this computer which is a laptop with a 64bit copy of win10.
Autore
that was the original program that was on file here and not the downloaded updated version on the netbook. So it might have to do something with the win10 64 bit .NET that could be an issue, just trying to help you figure it out on this end.
Hello Ron,
Since you already repaired the .NET Frameworks try to install the visual c++ libraries 2012 and 2013 from following links:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
To see if after you still experience the same issue.
Please keep me updated.

Installed the x64 version of both and still getting the error, here is the popup details

I don't know if v11 professional would do the same thing, but afraid to buy and try! Just let me know if you have any other ideas to get this version working on a x64 windows 10 computer. I am at a loss.
I am going to run a chkdsk just to make sure everything is functioning already hardware wise. I just noticed the errors I was getting before related to the application event viewer are gone now, but still getting the program popup.

Hello Ron,
Thank you for the informations. I informed the developers about it and they are verifyin the issue. Could you please try to check if on your computer there's a font installed with the name ClearviewText and in case remove it to see if also then you continue to get the same error?
Many thanks!

Now the clear text view font has been removed. Now getting this error.
8/11/2015 1:10:37 PM [EXCEPTION] Item has already been added. By that, I mean I removed the font from the system using the control panel.
Hello Ron,
Now it seems another font called "Dom" to cause the issue. Can you check if there is a font with this name and remove it?
Many thanks!
Autore
Just to let you know, the two font issues were the only issues. Right now it seems to be running fine. Appreciate the help!
