Upgrading from version 8 to 11

I have been using version 8 for the last number of years. I recently upgraded to version 11. Is there anyway of opening my old website in version 11? Would I have to convert it to version 9 or 10 first?

Unfortunately there is no way to open your version 8 project in version 11. Please see this thread for further explanation:

There were many changes to WebSite X5 after version 8. The software is very different now. Samantha's suggestion to copy and paste text and images from one project to another is by far the most satisfactory way of recreating an existing website in version 11.
