I am interested in using Website X5 to create websites for third parties. Can I build sites that can be edited online (adding content, images, text) without the user needing the software to do it?

Hello Pablo,
You can do this to a certain extent using the Dynamic Content Object in the Professional edition of version 12. Please study this extract from the help file to judge for yourself whether or not it would suit your needs:
