Hi, My website address is www.namakkalsearch.com. Its a local directory website which shows a list of addresses and phone numbers. I created my website with default layout. Using Map creation I have created all the pages I want. I created a categories page and made hidden it and create a level called categories and created all my sub categories pages in it. The website looks perfect and the way I want it. But.
For an example I want to see an info in Ad agencies, my website displays www.namakkalsearch.com/ad-agencies.html. But I want my website to display www.namakkalsearch.com/categories/ad-agencies.html.
I have attached a snapshot of my map creation page.
Please resolve my problem.

Hello Varadharaj,
What you describe is not a feature of WebSite X5.
In WebSite X5 you can change the filename of any page using 'Page Properties' (General tab) in Step 2 Map Creation. But you cannot nest pages within sub-folders on the server, and reflect that in the URL.
If you want to change the appearance of the URL then you could read up on mod_rewrite, assuming you are using Apache on the server:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/mod/mod_rewrite.html
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/misc/rewriteguide.html
However, once again please note that this is not a standard feature of WebSite X5 and therefore the Incomedia team are not obliged to offer support in this area.
Kind regards,
Paul

Hi Paul
Thank you for your reply. I really can't understand a thing on the link you provided me. But I can understand that I cannot make that happen in WebsiteX5. I really disappointed that I can't able to make that valuable option in WebsiteX5. Anyway thanks for your reply Paul.
