Just installed Website Evolution 13 and so far have had a number of problems. First of all any time I try to manipulate images, the program crashes (yes I've tried all the usual 'helpdesk' stuff to no avail and secondly where has my enable image transparency gone to? A number of my sites and images included enabled transparency - but it's not there in E13 - I hope this hasn't been dropped as it was a major feature of X5 as I don't have to drop out of it every few minutes to go into another program to edit an image. Anyone else noticed this ommision?
To show what I mean, I've attahed images of the same 'footer' design in V12 and V13 - you can see the resultt of dropping the enable transparency button clearly.

Can only attach one file at a time here - so here's the V13 file which no longer has the dialogue box for enable transparency
Hello Peter,
Have you read the helpfile? It explains the new transparency options in version 13:

Hi Paul, thanks for the reply. I've read through the link you posted and also searched 'transparency' via the search engine. I think what you have pointed to is the enabling transparency where it already exists in an image, e.g a PNG with alpha channel. The functionality that has been dropped from the software is to load an image without existing transparency (even a jpeg), use the pipette to select a colour and tolerance to make the selection transparent. A real shame that this appears to be omitted in the new version. Hopefully someone from incomedia can comment?
I will close this thread now as I see you have noted Claudio's comment on the other thread, here:

Feel free to carry on the discussion there.
