I have now upgraded to 13 pro and the links to my PDFs have disappeared.
For example - http://steeplewood.org.uk/oct-2016.html was in the newsletter folder
It is still there on the site (via FTP0 but the link on the menu does not work - it just returns a blank page.
I am going back to version 12 until this can be sroted. :(

Hello Duncan,
Do you mean this link on the menu?
What we say > Magazines > October 2016
If so then it works correctly for me when browsing your site.
Perhaps I have misunderstood your query?
Kind regards,
Paul

Thanks Paul,
It works now as I have reloaded it using Version 12. If I load it in Version 13 I just get a blankpage.
My apologies... I didn't check the version in the source code.
I'll notify Incomedia.

Thanks

Ah - sorted.
The default in version 13 seems to point the PDF at a local PC file. I had already uploaded the PDFs using FTP so I have to change them to point at exisitng internet files.
Presumably, I will be able to point new pages at new PDFs on the PC and they will upload those at the same time.
Tedious in the short temr but should save effort in the long run.
Wish they could have told us :(
Thanks again Paul :)

Nope - still doesn't seem to work :(
Duncan, the PDF widget works fine for me in V13, but I point to local files (which ultimately get uploaded automatically). In an earlier version this widget only worked on internet based pdf's and to use it you had to fully define the path eg http://steeplewood.org.uk/filename.pdf
Is that how you have defined the path?
Autore
Thank you.
I have already uploaded the PDFs in version 12 so I was pointing at the internet files. I have all the files stored locally so I could go through all that but I have about 40 PDFs uploaded and it would be so much simpler itf I did not have to do that!
Thanks again for your help. I'll stick to v12 until it is sorted. :(

Yuk - the dynamic content doesn't seem to work either. If I go onto the site - not logged in - it tells me to click hee to edit.
What has happened in version 13?
I offered to Beta test but was never accepted.
Hello Icomedia are you there?

Hello Duncan,
I informed the developers about the PDF file widget issue. About the logged pages if they contain the dynamic content object or the guestbook at the moment the lock is not working correctly but it will be solved with the next update.
Many thanks!

Dear Incomedia,
1. I offered to partake in the Beta trial but I wasn't accepted.
2. I paid money for this :(

Absolutely pissed off. I first raised this problem on the 24th of October and I have had no response from Inomdeia to date.
Disgusted.
Hello Duncan,
The developers are working on it and it will be solved as soon as possible. about the beta trial it works according to the date of the request. Probably more people requested to participate before you and we activate the request chronologically until the 25th september.
Many thanks!

Thank you. Version 12 is keeping me out of trouble :)

Do we know when this might be please? I have bought v13 but cannot use it at the moment :(
Hello Duncan,
like my collegue answered you on https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/it/post/159245 it will be solved as soon as possible but at the moment there is still not a precise date.
Many thanks!
Duncan - congratulations on your patients, I would have simply uploaded the 40 odd PDF's again from the local directories. I have a few websites in V13 with linked pdf's loaded from local directories with no issues.
However, I am sure that the day after you weaken, Incomedia will release v13.0.1.17 :-)
Autore
I'll try that - thanks.
