Miltiadis, yes you can. When in your project click the down arrow next to save and remove the tick from "save at every preview".

Personally I would recommend leaving this on, but you have an optiion to do a backup any time you like (same place) in the pro version. I recommend creating a backup at the beginning of every "session", which will give you somewhere to go back to in the case of catastrophy.

I think there it is set to not send an email but to use send it to a php file.

In case it is set to send all to a php file you need to change it back to send an email.
