Hello Andre, Yes it happens on the new project I am building and No Custom Code added anywhere. It is mostly happens when doing Site Previews and also Notice each time you change something on Template Stucture images added on Header & Footers disappears and it won't view on preview it's only an X icon where images suppossed to be.

Try please to repair the .NET Frameworks by following these steps:

To repair the .NET Frameworks 3.5 and 4 you need as first to use following cleanup tool to remove .NET 4:

Once done go to Control Panel then choose Programs and Features and then click on Turn Windows features on or off. Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1
This procedure can take some time to deactivate and activate .NET 3.5.1 and once done reinstall .NET 4 after downloading it from following link:

Once done test the program also by starting a new project and check if in this one you experience the same issue you have on the project you are working.

I have tried what you suggested with No Luck, actually the procedure makes the problem worst. After doing all the procedures the X5 Pro V13 won't even Load, even tried doing clean install....Un-install Reinstall X5 and won't load

Also I must tell you that this Solution Provided is a "VERY DANGEROUS Procedure", after following this procedure I have some Programs Stops Working and starts to get Pop Up Error Massages from programs rely on .Net Framework. I have spent so much time to troubleshoot and Fix The Issue this procedure have cause. I am just glad I was able to fix it.

I am now able to reload X5 Pro 13 and use it but still Freezing, I hope you guys have solution for this.

I Did not upgrade to X5 Pro 13, but I am haveing the same issue with my X5 Pro 12.  Any attempt to Change my website is met with Freezing, no error message.  Oddly I have used the program a year ago and did not have the issues I am having now.  Makes me strongly consider some other Website editor  Thank You

Senir and Joseph, have you ensured that the issue is not hardware related? You could perhaps run chkdsk c: /r from command prompt (run as admin). I have a dubious sector on my HD which occasionally causes the not responding error. If you have other drives on your system you might like to check those too and disconnect any USB drives.

The only other hardware issue I have had that caused the "not responding" issue was severe fragmentation which I fixed with the free defraggler after running the free ccleaner (both from piriform).  Good luck.

habe seit dem Update 13.03.22 gleiche Probleme!  Bis jetzt waren keine Hinweise in der Community, die geholfen haben.

Bei mir treten die Speicher-Probleme bei größeren Projekten und beim verändern der Verzeichnissen / Seiten, die in Verbindung mit der Menüleiste stehen, auf.

Änderungen innerhalb einer Seite mit speichern funktioniert!

Bis jetzt habe ich mir wie folgt geholfen:

Nach dem Abbruch durch TaskManager - Windows ( Neu starten, nicht nur herunterfahren)

X5 starten und direkt auf sitemap gehen.

wichtig!  -  Einstellung " bei jeder Vorschau speichern" ausschalten.  Jetzt einmal - Vorschau testen - danach Updates/ neue Verzeichnisse oder Seiten updaten.

Weiter auf einer der veränderten Seiten ( grüner Button o.R.) , danach - Vorschau - kann etwas länger dauern bis die Vorschau fertig ist! ( u.R. grüner Ladebalken muss fertig sein ) kann evtl. einige Minuten dauern.

Danach speichern!   wenn X5 wieder hängt -  Geduld ! und nochmal starten .....

Did you receive any error message during the procedure to repair the .NET Frameworks?

Generally this procedure is harmless since the Frameworks are reinstalled by using the files from the Microsoft Website and if this caused you an issue then probably something is not working as it should on your windows copy which causes also the freezing issue.

Try please to ccreate a new user in windows and  then test the program on this other user to see if so it is still freezing.

I did not get any error during the repair and installation, after the procedure the X5 Pro v13 won't even Load anymore and my programs stops working. The .Net link you provided is somehow OLD version and most of the programs installed on my computer rely on new .Net version and it causes error pop up messages and programs stops working. So I have to look and use .Net 4.6.2 to resolve the issue causes this procedure. Now all my programs works including x5 Pro by installing .net 4.6.2, But Still the x5 pro Freezes No error message.

Any other suggestions?

Did you test in a new Windows user if the program is still freezing?

Try also to check if all windows updates are installed and then test it again.

Claudio Sorry I did not had a chance to try new user, however I just installed new software update and X5 pro 13 seems doing fine. Hopefully does not freeze anymore!
