OMG! My laptop completly died and the hard drive was corrupted. I hadnt done a back-up of the computer so now im worried.....
1. Is there anyway i can download website X5 onto a new computer woithout having to buy another license?
2. is there any way to recover all of my work which is currently online but i now cant edit it?!
please help me.

You can download the program in its profile under Download and you can also find the license in the profile.
If you no longer have iwzip security files and the iwprj projects, you can only rebuild the projects and copy them to the published home page and copy content such as texts, images, files, and links.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to convert the published homepage into a project.

James, JJ is absolutely correct, but if your HD still spins up it may be possible to retrieve your project/s from the HD. If you can find a suitable PC support person they should be able to remove your HD from the laptop, place it in a dock and get your files for you.
Sadly if the HD won't spin up (usually makes clicking noises or the sound of grinding metal) it's a manual recreation.
If the storage module (harddisk or SSD) is still somehow readable, you can of course try to rescue with a rescue software (hard disk recovery) or via a company that is specialized on saving the projects. Since this is associated with costs, they should consider whether a data rescue or a reconstruction of the projects makes sense.

I am sorry about that! I really hope you will find your iwzip files for the projects you are working on. For the future, please remember to store them on a separate device, for example and external hard disk, this habit can be really help ful in such unlucky cases.
