We are dgoing to design a new website for users. What would be the best option . Windows or Linux hosting ?

They have either shared linux or shared hosting packages.

In my opinion, if you don't have particular needs, I suggest the hosting Linux because it supports better the php that website x5 uses for many features

what do you mean by Any particular needs ? Can windows hosting do more ? Sorry Im very new to this.
