Hey everybody,

Was wondering if anybody ever got the issue that when you choose for the option "Responsive Site" in the resolution and responsive design menu that all the images gets removed when you view it on a mobile or tablet.
The desktop version works fine it is just when you view it on lower resolutions like tablet or mobile where the website becomes plain and images get removed and you get the default colours.

PS: I use WebSite X5 Proffesional 13.

Mart, the cellls are hidden at mobile resolution/s. Go to step 5 Pages (for each page), select responsive design (bottom icon top right of page layout), select the lowest resolutions (normally second lowest is the culprit), select show/hide and click on each cell.

It should change from white to light blue.

Thanks for the quick response.
At all the pages it is in blue right now but in the preview when i make the window smaller all the pictures are removed.
Anything else i could try?

Hi Mart,

please go on Step 4 and check if part of the content has been hidden in lower resolutions. You just have to click on
Responsive, then check for each breakpoint if you can see the Objects. If not, it means that they are hidden. You can solve this by selecting  Show/Hide Objects.

Please let me know if you need help. Kind regards.

Hi Elisa,

The content from each page does display and is marked blue (so i can see the content).

The problem is that when you change resolution (in the program display browser) when you change size the pictures are removed, i have uploaded a clip to YouTube so you can see what i mean, it seems the page lay-out itself has issues?

Mart, it looks like the missing detail is in the header.

For this you need to go to step 2 Template, customisation, Header & Footer and ensure the header content is correct for each resolution.

You also need to register your software (we cannot see what version you have) if you would like us to help you in the future.

@Esahc

Made another video and uploaded it on YouTube.
On all the resolutions the picture of the header seem to appear, the picture might be bigger then the header itself but i do not think that is a issue? Also i tried to the picture smaller but the same problem still happend when doing that on all the resolutions.

Hi Mart,

thank you for the video.

So the text on your page is still present also in lower resolutions, so I guess you are referring to the background image and the general layout, which becomes different in lower resolutions. This happens because you did not customize the template on lower resolutions. On Step 2-Template Structure you have to do the same thing you have done for the first breakpoint also for the lower ones.

Please find here our guide, I'm sure you will solve the issue very quickly: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/it/post/169726

Please let me know if you need help. I wish you a lovely day.
