I have applied for a refund but have been directed here if you can help me.
I downloaded and paid for the 3 sounds template. The problem is it is in three areas which are Indie rock music, music and DJ and I only want the dj section as my home page and not the Indie rock music. I have not published the site yet until I get it working.
Many Thanks

You can remove (right click), replace or edit any cells on the page in the template by going to step 4 Pages (page creation), and if necessary, you can also remove the background image related to any cell or group of cells by clicking on Row Formats
To remove the unwanted Menu Options, go to step 3, Map, select the level you do not require and then select remove
Please let us know if I have misunderstood the question.

Hello...Many thanks for your reply.
I have been all over this and done these things but the homepage is locked, I am uploading the clip of what I am looking at.
As you see there are three sites to choose, Indi, Classic and DJ, I only want the DJ section and make it the Home page.
Ian - I do not have that template, but I'm pretty sure nothing is locked.
Rather than simply delete everything, you could hide every level (the icon looks like a folder) and every page except for DJ and below using the button as highlighted in your screen grab.
The only issue may be that HOME - Indie Rock may still appear as the home page because it's real name is index (click on properties to see)
You may need to rename it to oldindex and then select HOME -DJ and click properties and rename as index
Does that achieve what you want? (if it does you could then delete all the levels and pages you hid)
A good way to test is to go to step 5, export to disk and save in a suitable folder. If you then browse to where you saved it with windows explorer and double click on index.html it should open just as it would if uploaded to the web.
Hope that helps
(& hope I haven't misguided you - there may be a better way to achieve this that I am not aware of)

Here is a quote from the template description....
Classic Music Festival and Dj. Choose the one you prefer, cancel the other pages then sing along while you customize your content. You're going to be famous in a snap.
So here I am trying fiddling spending hours just to do this
Ian, it should take less than 5 minutes.
Hi, if you don't find the image in the "rows style", try to see it in "Page Properties / Graphics" (see the green arrow)...
... And than here...

Thank you for your input...
This did not work, and the index page still points to original Home page that I do not want.
All I want to do is change the Home page to be the other layout and delete everything else seems a very simple problem that I a missing but cannot achieve...
You used properties to change the name of the unwanted index file, then you changed the name of the preferred file to index?
Worked when I did it!

So where do you find the index?. All I can find is the Homepage and does not change even when I did what you said and cannot be deleted.
So now the template description says EASILY remove sections of the template not required, I cannot remove the section I do not require but i can EASILY remove the sections I do require...
My apologies for being a nuisance and really appreciate your time....
Ian, I would do this on a copy of your site. Open WX5, highlight your project and select Duplicate (just in case :-)
Change the filenames, step3 map
Having done the above, click on Home - DJ and do the same, but change the filename to index.
You should then be able to delete everything you do not want (simply right click and select delete)

Sorry Esahc,
I have done exactly what you said and the Home page is still not available to edit or delete..
Ian I feel your frustration. I am almost tempted to buy the template and see for myself.
If you carried out all the steps in red, perhaps try the steps in green next. If you do, you'll need to unhide home-dj
You home page should now be HOME-DJ

Nothing worked....
I can remove DJ and CLASSIC no problem or hide them but cannot do this to Indie Rock.
I have re installed the Incomedia Professional program, I said before, the template description says easily remove the sections not required....so I must be missing something very very simple .
Sadly Ian, it appears Iam missing something very simple.
I have asked Incomedia to look at your problem, I am obviously not giving you the correct advise.

Thanks a lot Esahc,
I really appreciate a valant effort, all your input is still useful to me.
Ian
Ian - this post has been marked as solved!(???) Did the changes finally work for you??

Hello Esahc....
Sorry, I wrote a reply but forgot to send it (in my excitement).
Basically, because the three layouts a pretty much the same I just changed all the graphics and text etc in the Indie Homepage with the DJ material and my own then deleted the old DJ and classic site. Bit long winded I know, time will tell...
The only problem now is that the links don't work in the dropdown burger menu..
Hi Ian,
please write a new post for the links, so we won't make any confusion on this one.
Thank you! Kind regards.
