V14 not displaying webpage correctly

I have a webpage that uses java script to pull photos from picassa or google photos and display them in the page. This has worked fine in versions 13,12,11 but version 14 gives the following error #imHeader_imMenuObject_07 ul li#imSideBar_imMenuObject_01 ul li
The page does not display photos. I went back to a version 13 copy and it worked fine. Tried to pull the version 13 into v14 as a test and it stoipped working with the above error.
I have reverted to V13 as users need access.
you can see the version 13 site here http://saintalbans.org.nz/photos-current.html which is working
Any ideas please?

Ron, have you tried either exporting the site without the code or removing all the code and reinserting it after upgrade to V14
I know this works when google tracking code gets messed with during the upgrade process.

Thanks for reply gave tried your suggestion but no luck
You can see the difference V13 here saintalbans.org.nz look under photos old or photos new
wheras V14 is here ronw.org.nz
Must be something wrong somewhere
Any help appreciated
Ron, I looked at your code (http://saintalbans.org.nz//pwa.js" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://saintalbans.org.nz//pwa.js" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://saintalbans.org.nz//pwa.js">http://saintalbans.org.nz//pwa.js) and since it works in V13 I see no reason for it not to work in V14. Having said that, I am not a programmer and know nothing of Java scripting.
Unfortunately Incomedia do not offer any support for 3rd party code, so I doubt they can assist. Hopefully someone else on this forum will look and see the obvious.
I could not examine the code on your V14 site because it loads and momentarily shows some photos and then fails, at which point the source code becomes unavailable.
As stated above, I know google analytics code sometimes gets scrambled in the upgrade process, is there any chance there are other 3rd party code fragments on the V14 pages (there appears to be google analytics code on the V13 version)? If so, total removal (before export from V13?) would rule out interference from this.
Sorry I could not be more helpful.
PS I have to admit some surprise that the albums are still accessable :-)

Links that will stop working

Thanks I deleted the whole Photos code from V13 saved it and exported it out to file and then pulled it into V14. The code just uses java to pull the files off picasa and like you I thought it would stop working but Google say that they will keep it working but not apply updates. It has worked fine from V10 its only played up since V14. I will stay on V13 for now and try to figure out what is happening. Thanks for your help

Ron, if you have the time, can you create a one page new project and see if the script works?
Looking at your error message, the problem could be a site header or sidebar menu object conflict.

Tried that on ronw.org.nz same error message,
Cannot really see why moving to V14 should cause such a problem. never had this problem in any other release.
Ron, it is of little consolation, but since picassa cannot be relied upon into the future, why not bring all of the photos in to the project.
With WX5 V14 you will probably take advantage of the responsive features so users can access the site via tablets and mobiles. I have had much success with both the Masonary and Justified Gallery optional objects, both deal with responsive displays effortlessly (no work from me).
Sorry I have not helped in resolving the conflict.

Thanks for that I have had a quick look at Justified Gallery and maybe its my understanding but I cannot see how it would help me. My current method using java scrip pulls all the photos off Picasa complete with their Folder Titles and displays them on my webpage as thumbnails with The folder title and all the pix in that folder underneath. So I can go to Folder Christmas 2016 and all the photos for that day are displayed. I cannot see how I can duplicate that using Justified Gallery. The best I could do would be to manually create folders and pull all the pix into that but its a lot of work and doesnt look as neat. Is there any way I can escalate the problem with V14 to see if any of the back room people can figure out what is going wrong?

The V14 site is still available on ronw.org.nz and the V13 site which still works is on saintalbans.org.nz
Ron, I have asked Incomedia to look, but unless the problem is blindingly obvious to them I doubt they can help because (as stated previously) this is 3rd party code.

Thanks, I dont think it is anything to do with the java Script because as you pointed out that part works and presents the photos to the webpage for a few seconds and then the error pops up. There must be a change in V14 that was not present in every other version I have used going back several years. I do appreciate the time you have spent helping. I will live with using V13 at the moment in the hope that an update will fix problem in V14

Because it appears momentarily, that is why I think it is a javascript error, it works until it reads the conflict. Sadly I have no expertise in this field.
Hello Ron,
Like Esahc suggested it seems to start when the js code is loaded and it seems going in conflict with the functions used on Version 14 but unfortunately I cannot help you in case of custom code and we never guarantee custom code to work in updates or upgrades since the changes introduced are necessary to make the website work correctly.
Many thanks!
Ron, since all else has failed. . . .
You could try open the troublesome galleries in a showbox, if the conflict is with the new menu object, this may avoid the issue?
The steps to take would be on step3 Map, create a new level with the same name as the page (eg old-photos), then hide the original page. Now right click on the new level, select properties, select link, website page, original (hidden) page, open in showbox or pop-up.
Like I said - I have no idea if it will work, but it may isolate your 3rd party code from internal WX5 variables.
Good luck.

Thanks I gave that a try but same error comes up. My problem is that I can move the photos onto my server and use WX5 to display them but I cannot think of a way to show them so that users can see the titles of each folder and click to display them. There does not seem to be anyway to have the files stored in folders without having to have a separate menu for each folder which would seem silly. I will have a think meanwhile it works finr in older version WX5 so will live with that.
