Can the date format for blog cards be changed?

I did a search through the manual, but could not find an answer to this.
Can the date on the blog card be changed? Currently it appears to be fixed in dd/mm/yyyy format, but I would like it to be mm/dd/yyyy format. I can find no place to do this. Altertatively, I could settle for 'day month year' with month spelled out (i.e. January).

At the moment it is not possible to have this feature in WebSite X5. I would like to suggest that you open an "Idea" Post where you describe to us the feature you would like to see implemented in the future releases of WebSite X5.

Jon, in preview mode what is the date format when you preview?
I ask because I changed the date format to English US on my PC and the format became m/d/yyyy.
Sadly I do not know if this reverts to d/m/yyyy when uploaded to the web.

Preview mode is the same for me. For the time being, I have just removed the number-only date on the cards.
