SMTP e-mail works not

I try to send my e-mail via SMTP and sendgrid
I id try this in the X5 website test site /admin
fill in all the items but the applycation runs in a time out (it is waiting for reaction on the site)
We use PHP version 7 is this compatible with this script?

php7 should work, did you get the correct data from your webprovider?
They can tell you how to set up mailing from website, see the faq at the webhost.

Thanks it is correct the webhost is blocking all other smtp servers. the script is working correct with PHP7
