Hello,
I have a problem with locked page.
I think, I set up everything according to guide, this forum and other discussion which I've found, but I still have this problem:
When I log into locked page, the message "You are sign in successful" is displayed but I don't see text from the locked page and when I try to show some locked page the login form is displayed again.
I prepared one test pages where you can see my problem:
locked page: http://www.janbobek.cz/test2/page1.php
login: user1(at)centrum.cz
password: aaa
Note: when you log in you will see Czech message "Příhlášení bylo úspěšné." - its means You are sign in successful.
Screen shots of my test projects enclosed.
Tahnks a lot for help. Jan.

Hi Jan, apologies as unable to see your your zip file contents but from what I have seen on your site I am guessing that you have not correctly configured Access in Step 1.
In Step 1 under access you configure the groups and users who will have access to your site, this unfortunately is a manual process. If you would users to self register and be confirmed then you must enable auto registration, then when they register they will be placed into the self registration group.
The next important step is when you configure your locked page in Step 3 you must define what groups will have access to the page. If you are allowing users to self register and want them to have access to the page then you must define the auto registration group to have access.
If everything is configured correctly per above, when a user attempts to access a locked page they will be presented with a login / self registration page. Upon entering some basic information they will be sent a validation email which they can click on the link and then be able to access those locked pages configured for auto registration.
Hope this helps...
Regards!
Dave
Jan, I am not sure I understand I am sorry.
For the purposes of this exercise, please unhide page1.php and page2.php so they can be seen on the menu (but leave them locked).
What should I see on page1 - can you provide a screen shot?

Dave, pls check screen shots above. I think I configured it correctly. Thanks.
Thanks Jan, the screen shots you have shared all look correct, would it be possible for you to share the screen shot for Step 1 Access Management and its Settings tab, as well as for Data management? Then could you confirm that you are using the Step 5 Export and Upload the Website to Internet for each configuration change?
In your deployed site under the res folder, you should find an Access.inc.php file, open it and ensure that your user1 is configured within this file.
For some reason it appears that user1 is being authenticated and granted access to the page, but the session information is not being retained to enable access to Page 2 / move between the pages without having to re-login and / or provide the content that is expected to be displayed.
Let's have a look at those two screen shots, validate the deployment process and check the file and its configuration?
Regards!

Yes, I put it to same gallery at: https://photos.app.goo.gl/KNCiHFzkUr8FsT8P9
I dind't put any info to this part of my project. I dont use automatic user registration.
Then could you confirm that you are using the Step 5 Export and Upload the Website to Internet for each configuration change?
Yes.
In your deployed site under the res folder, you should find an Access.inc.php file, open it and ensure that your user1 is configured within this file.
Yes, it is.
One more idea: I can send you whole project in zip file. Or you can send me some working sample project and I wil learn from it.
Thnaks for your help.

Hello Jan,
did you put information (some text or picture) in pages 1 and 2 and 3? if not do so.
Is the URL website adress in step 1 correctly set? Please check, if not correct.
What is the PHP version where your provider works with? Check your web provider admin panel for this, if you can set it then set it to highest possible PHP version.
After that do a full upload, refresh page when visiting with your browser (F5) and test again.
Hope one of these will help you!
Best Regards

Hello Andre.
There are these text messages:
Home page: Home page
Page1: Hidden locked text message page 1
Page2: Hidden locked text message page 2
Page3: unlocked text
Is the URL website adress in step 1 correctly set? Please check, if not correct.
Do you mean this dialog?:
What is the PHP version where your provider works with? Check your web provider admin panel for this, if you can set it then set it to highest possible PHP version.
I don't know, where is web provider admin panel, but version of my PHP is 5.6.36
After that do a full upload, refresh page when visiting with your browser (F5) and test again.
I did. But no effect.
What now? :-)
Thanks for your help.

Hi Jan, you need to specify the Server Folder with write access in Data Management, this is used as a temporary folder for a number of operations.
For example in my websites main folder I have a sub folder called php-cache that I have created and specified in Data Management. The path to this folder needs to be correct and the folder requires full access to be set i.e. in my project it is php-cache and permisions are 7777 (set by your cpanel file manager or os command).
If this does not fix your problem, then send me your project and I will have a look, though suspect it will.
Regards!

Hi Dave, according to your instruction I
1) made it in program:
2) on the server
but no change. It still doesn't work.
Please check it whether I understood well to your instruction.
Thanks, Jan
Hi Jan, I am unable to see the full path on your server or translate from cz to en, but all looks correct. The only thing I can suggest is as php-cache is a local folder then removing the full path for php-cache in wsx5 (this will remove any dependencies with permissons or access from root to the local folder).

Hmm...really can not think of a reason why this is not now working. Happy for you to send it to me at *** and I will have a look and deploy it to my server to test it out.
Really sorry this is taking so long to sort out but hopefully we can resolve this soon for you.

Hello Jan,
Check with the company where you hire the webspace, read there faq and see if you can update your php version to 7.
then try again.
Autore
...PHP just updated to version 7.2
But, still no change. Locked page doesn't work.
Dave, have you already checked my project which I sent by e-mail?
Thanks. Jan
Hi Jan, apologies as I have not received your project, did you want to check the size of the file, verify the address as *** and that the first message did not bounce? Once I do receive your file I will check it out and attempt to re-produce your problem or determine the cause.
Regards!

Thanks Jan.
Hi Jan, this post should be closed as I tested your site and found no problem. Thus provided you with the php and site configurations as had to be a problem with your environment.
Did you resolve your problem?
Kind Regards?
