Hi, I would like to inquire after I created and uploaded the website via FTP using website X5 evolution how can I give the website to the client so that they can edit the site? If they dont have X5 what program can they use in editing the site? thanks

Paolo, it is not possible to edit an online site with WX5.
Your client would need to purchase WX5 and you would need to export and provide the iwzip, then they would upload.
If the ongoing changes required are simply a blog and perhaps a calendar, these can be embedded and updated independently.

So maintaining their site would still be me as they have no capacity to do so after? I just inquired it, just like wordpress, when you create a website using wordpress they can easily edit the site. Is there no way they can update/edit the content afterwards if they are not using website x5?
Thanks
Paolo, they require WX5.
If you believe they are competent to update a Wordpress site, I am absolutely certain they could update a WX5 site.

Okay thanks. So there is no way that the client can edit the website once they were given the zip file if they dont have website X5 evolution
Paolo, it is an iwzip file and the project can only be edited with a local copy of X5 Evolution. If they make changes and ask you to do further work, they would need to provide a new iwzip that you import.
Woops - my oversight, perhaps this will achieve what your client requires?

However, I do suspect this is available only in Professional and not Evolution.

so evolution does not provide "Dynamic Content" object?
I would like this feature to be available also for Evolution.
Paolo, it is cheaper to own 2 copies of Evo than one of Pro.
Also, Dynamic Content is pretty limited to my knowledge, the user can only edit "dynamic objects", they cannot generically make changes to a site.
