A few comments: Your site is content poor - both the content and the landing page urls. every landing page url should have "upvc-door-lock-repair-(your closest towns (just a couple)-(your shire) )" in the url. Your content on your landing pages is poor quality. for example - Book a Repair - it has no content whatsoever. Also Extra Security is an image - google can't get any content from just an image - all the text in the image you have is non existant to google.
Your site is set to a fixed viewport for laptop/desktop and is not mobile responsive.
You might want to consider some pay per click ads to develop some traffic to your site since organic search is poor.
Hope that helps a bit.
Adrian
It's a tidy layout, that looks good in places but there are a lot of spelling and grammatical errors that don't give a professional impression of your site. There are no instructions on how to fill in the "Book a Repair" section. On the Home Page (viewed on my PC) there is a large white gap between text and pictures below.
This could be a really good site though, with a bit more work. Adrian has some great tips for SEO optimisation. Which version of X5 did you use?
Wayne
Derek - good luck!! Please take Adrian & Wayne's advise, it would help, but be aware that Google is a strange beast and almost impossible to question. I have a number of sites that were until recently on page 1 via a number of keyword searches - all that stopped earlier this year and I cannot fathom why.
If you have any friends with related websites (especially if they are high ranking), you could ask for a link to your site. Backlinks from reputable sites are gold.
Good luck (& don't forget to also submit your site to Bing & Yahoo and any other search engine that takes your fancy (google is harsh, but it doesn't like to be left out either :-)).
BUT
You must go responsive (as mentioned by Adrian above), v16 Evo has all the tools you need!!
BTW even the most optimistic SEO "experts" will tell you that climbing the page results could take months, so be patient.
Hi Derek,
in addiction to what the other users kindly suggested you, please find here an article about SEO which we published some time ago, I hope it will be helpful: https://www.websitex5.com/en/discover-seo.html
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Kind regards.
