The Menu Object will not display the 'Current Page' in the selected color. Instead it displays the 'Page' selected color. If I choose 'Use same setting as the Mouseover state' the 'Current Page' is still displayed in the 'Page' selected color. The 'On mouseover' button is displayed in the selected color.
If I click the preview button the menu displays all selected menu colors correctly. However, what is uploaded to the server, and what is in the 'preview' folder has the problem mentioned above.

Update on above problem. I have discovered that the problem of 'Current Page' not being displaed in the selected color has spread to all my files for other website projects (including files that I have not worked on since this problem appeared. The websites out on the internet ARE working correctly if I have not uploaded to them since this started. Very strange.

I'm also still have installed on this computer v14, and v13. This problem has spread to V14 also, but NOT v13. I'm going to wait to see what comes of it at this point. Also wait on your post regarding the js. Thank you.
Kenneth, problems with v16 cannot "infect" other versions.
If you're running Win10, have you restarted recently?
Autore
A restart of Windows 10 did not resolve the problem. I may try to reinstall X5 to see if that corrects this. Thank you.

My apologies - I just re-read your first post.
Is the issue with objects in the level menu?
If so, this is because of a change by Incomedia (in v16). There is no option to set current page options in the level menu, they are always inherited from the main menu, this cannot be overridden (very annoying).
I am not aware of any problem with current page as displayed in the main menu however.

The problem with the main menu may be seen at www.bluefrogfl.com
The 'Current Page' selected color is set to R31, G93, B152. However, it is being displayed as R220, G220, B220 (the 'Page' selected color).
Hello Kenneth S.
Please check did you created the background colour same as current page colour?
Thank you
Autore
'Page' background is set at R220, G220, B220
'On Mouseover' background is set at R255, G170, B1
'Current Page' background is set at R31, G93, B152
When clicking the Preview button at the top of the window, the 'Current Page' is displayed in the color of R31, G93, B152 (as it is set for).
However, 'Current Page' background is displayed as R220, G220, B220 both on line, and in the 'Preview' folder within the given project.
All other colors (except for 'Current Page') are correct in all cases.
Kenneth, can you provide a screen shot of the setup page for current page menu item?
If there is a file name where indicated in the image above, right click on it and delete.

Hi kenneth
As promised here are 2 demos foryou to view both include the sinlepage.nav.js file that we use for the main menu and the hamburger menu:
https://www.x5tuts-marketplace.com/template/awesome-v16/
https://www.x5tuts-marketplace.com/template/fitness-v16/ (click on any of the 3 images to see the preview)
I am more than happy to help you if this is what you require.
Regards
Jamie
Kenneth, your screen shot implies everything should work and you state the preview works correctly (ctrl+preview recommended when having issues).
Please go to step 5 export, export website to disk. Having done so, navigate to where you saved it and double click the index.html - does it preview correctly??
If so, you need to do a FULL upload to your host and overwrite all existing files. If this fails you could either delete all existing files on your webhost (compare the local copy you made with the online files so you know which files and folders should be deleted) although in such cases I normally fall back to filezilla to easily delete and/or do a full upload with overwrite.

I'll check this suggestion. I do have Filezilla if needed. I'll see what happens. Thank you.

I have done as suggested and used the 'Export Website to Disk'. Upon compleation I found the Current Page color problem to be there too. However, I'm beginning to suspect the problem might NOT be X5: I have backup files for all X5 projects that I have which where created as of back on 20 June 2018, and these have never been opened by the X5 software. The problem is occuring in all preview folders for v14 and v15. It has NOT affected anythiing v13. This is leading me to come to the conclusion that something has gone wrong in my computer that is causing not only the problem to occur when I view it in the folders, but the problem is apparently being sent up with the files to the server, as the Current Page color is wrong online too (viewed on Windows or Ubuntu).
For the time being I'm going to just have to accept this as the way my v15 (now v16) websites are going to work until I can find out what may has happened. All v13 items appear to be unaffected by this problem. I'm leaning toward it not being an X5 problem. Thank you for your time on this matter. If it is ever resolved, I'll try to post what was found.
Kenneth, if you create a new project with little or no content, do the menus work correctly?
If not, please export and add the iwzip as an attachment here so I can see if the "damage" is permanent or only on your PC.
I have had 2 occasions when I thought WX5 was at fault but it wasn't. One was a very small piece of code I used on every website I wrote, in this case it used a variable that was also used internally by WX5 and changed the behaviour of WX5 (all was fine until an update to solve a specific bug).
The second was a small utility program running on Windows which somehow changed the functionality of WX5 after a specific version was released. In this second case it only affected my local view if WX5 - the version that went to the web was fine.

I went to a different computer that is running on Windows 10 (Mine is on Windows 10 also) I installed the demo version of X5, v16.1.1 and used it to generate a project. On the menu I set the Page to be gray, On Mouseover to be Red, and the Current Page to be Blue. I have included a screen shot of the results:
1) In the window at the top is the Menu, and its settings for the Current Page.
2) In the lower right window is the view generated by X5's preview function.
3) In the lower left window is the view found in the project's preview folder, viwing with Firefox (this used to show correctly before this 'problem' arrived).
It appears that this 'problem' is not only on my computer, but this newer computer as well. I can only guess that it is some strage Windows 10 issue? Or, an X5 bug not yet widespread, that has not yet been widley posted? This is very strange indeed.

Zip Folder attached...
Autore
I attached a zip folder, and also in the entry above that described the results using Demo v16.1.1 on a different computer (same problem)
Autore
I downloaded a new copy of the Demo v16.1.1 onto the second computer, and installed it. I got the same bad results as described above.
My next move is likly going to be to try to install the Demo ontu Windows 7 to see if there is any difference. It may be a day or two as I must get through some activity.
Your image above looks correct. Mine too looked correct if viewed through the "preview" function, but NOT if exported or uploaded, or veiwed locally throgh a browser.
I was unable to open Crap.iwzip as it was created with Pro.
Kenneth, let me start this reply by stating that I hate getting older, so often it means that I forget the obvious.
There is nothing wrong with your version/s of wx5 (and in spite of a short lived panic that sent me off to hunt for malware/trojans/keyloggers, etc, after loading your example, there is nothing wrong with mine either).
The problem is a change made to wx5 (v14?) that means the url of the website in settings must be the same as the url where the website is when online.
I went to https://www.bluefrogfl.com/
https://www.bluefrogfl.com is what must be written in the website address (URL) in your project. The current page will then successfully be displayed after upload (the current page will display in preview, but not when the site is loaded from the hard disk folder).
NOW
I did remember all the above and wrote the response, but when I went looking on the helpcentre I found the original post pointing out the problem. What embarrasses me most is that I wrote it :-(

My apologies for taking so long to provide the simple answer.

I understand your solution. Presently it is NOT configured the way you have illistrated. I'll make those changes. Thank you.

The menu IS WORKING correctly now. Thank you for your help with this.
