Hello

I didn't use website X5 for a while. I can't use it anymore because of this message:

I run windows 8 on my computer.

what are the steps to de-install and reïnstall? I assume I can't delete the program because of all my projects.

Hello Martinus

You can download the program from your account and then reinstall.

***  IMPORTANT ****    Before you do ANYTHING else, then make some iwzip-files of all your projects, and save tese files in a safe place ( USB stick ). You could copy to 2 USB-sticks to be sure.

Then try to import from one of the zip-files. If this results in a "new" project then all should be ready for a new installation. If the iwzip-file cannot be processed, then you have to find out why, before you reinstall.

when you have installed the program you should be able to create the projects from the iwzip-files.

If you are not able to start the program and create the iwzip-files, then look if you have some "old" files.

If you don't have any iwzip-files, and you are not able to create such - then you have to make the projects from scratch.

If you have intact project folders, then you should also take a copy of the folders.

you can see what eventual is possible if you have intact project folders.

If you are lucky you can "start" from the project folders - but best is the iwzip file.

Please delete the folder WebSite X5 v13- Professional in C:\Users\ Your Windows username \AppData\Local\Incomedia, then please start the program and register again.
