Can X5 Evolution copy/paste excel data onto my site.

I currently am using WebPlus, which is being phased out, and I can easily do this using "Paste - Special".

It creates a link to my excel file and updates any changes made to xls file.

Trying VERY hard to find another program that supports this - help is appreciated.

Thanks, Phil

Hello Phil

For displaying content of csv-files, I use this fantastic script, you can download at GitHub.

https://github.com/derekeder/csv-to-html-table

It is easy to use, and it can be set up to handle whatever character you use as delimiter. It automatically detects how many columns is in the csv-file. This is a setting you make in the html-file - it is also here you specify the file-name of the csv.

If you want to operate on  more that one csv, you can copy the html-file to a new and then use this in another iframe.

You can even have links that targets the iframe so you on one page, can show different csv-files in the iframe.

You can  specify/construct a column in the csv as a link.

The easiest is to use the html that is delivered in the package. You put this html-page in an iframe - that's it

With this solution, you can upload and overwrite the csv-file. This is not possible with the object.

Using the object, you need to put in a new file in the object and upload the project, or the object will operate on old data. ( it has been so - don't know if it is fixed now )

Also - it is possible that the user online can specify how many lines he wants for the page setting.

And - the filter/search function happens as you type - no need to press a button.

Because it doesn't look correct with tables in responsive representations, we only use PDF files for larger tables, which we create in LiberCalc or Excel. These are linked depending on the quantity and size as external (large amounts of data) or internal (small amount of data) file.
Principle example for external PDF:

Translations with Google or Bing
