I want to be able to insert Amazon Ads in the content of my blog posts but I can't seem to get the "Enable HTML Code" to work. I've tried selecting the "Enable HTML Code" function before and after adding the Amazon code but the Ads won't display.
I use V19 Professional.
Any help would be appreciated :)
Thanks

In the text object, You can activate or disable the Ikon HTML code. The blue Frame and the Ikon indicates that it is activated.
When They Clicked on for the first time, they activated this, the second time they disabled it.Check whether an HTML object should not be used better. Read also The Help with click on Question Mark right at The top Of Websitex5

Thanks for the help JJ. Juag.
I tried activating the icon html code it but didn't work. I can't use an HTML object as I want the code to be in the text on the main blog page. I have an ad in the side block but want to place ads in the main content of the blog post.
Any ideas?
Since I don't work with blog, wit for Answers from Moderators or anyone with experience with it.

(It > En) ... it is not good to use HTML code in Text Object (*); ... the object prepared to use the HTML code is the Object HTML Code ...
(*) - in case it is really necessary to use HTML code in Object Text enabled [</>], the code must be arranged in a single line, without carriage returns, and without text formatting ...
... Yes:
<code xxxxx .... xxxxxxx ........ xxxxxx end code>
... no!
<code xxxxx .... xxxxxxx.
....... xxxxxx
end of code>

Hi KolAsim,
Thanks for your help but I still couldn't get it to work. The steps I took were:
Was there any part of that sequence that was incorrect?
P.S. I would use the HTML Code Object but there isn't that option with the Blog posts. I can only use the Side Blocks, which I am using but I want the Amazon Ads in the main text as well.
Thanks

... no! point 3); ... the text field must and remain enabled [</>];
... no! point 4); ... the amazon code must not be altered, but only arranged in a single line; prepare it in the Windows notepad without carriage return, and then copy/paste.
...
... to know if the text field accepts the html code, try pasting this string that links to Google:
<a style="font-size:22px;text-decoration:none; color:#0000ff" href="https://www.google.com/"> GOOGLE </a>

Hi KolAsim,
Thanks for your help but I still couldn't get it to work with the Amazon code, however it did work with the code you said to try - linking to Google.
I'm not sure what to do now
(It > En) ... unfortunately I currently don't have the program, but you try the same to attach the amazon code so that I can see how it is composed ...

amzn_assoc_ad_mode = "search";
amzn_assoc_ad_type = "smart";
amzn_assoc_marketplace = "amazon";
amzn_assoc_region = "US";
amzn_assoc_title = "Shop Related Products";
amzn_assoc_default_search_phrase = "watches";
amzn_assoc_default_category = "All";
amzn_assoc_linkid = "67475a4ec3a76c8d1535903d0a71e189";

Thanks. I know it works in an HTML Object but I'm trying to get the code to work in the main body of the blog page. That's what I'm having problems with
(It > En)
1) - add to the project a hidden page called "amazon" (amazon.html);
2) - in this hidden page use the option:
▪Create the Page without the Template;
3) - in the single cell of this amazon page insert an HTML Code Object;
4) - in this object paste the amazon code as you previously posted it;
5) - in the text of the HTML enabled BLOG paste this IFRAME code:
<iframe src = "http://www.your_site_name.en/amazon.html" width = "480" height = "600"> </iframe>
...
... will work on the net ...
... eventually when you have sent the LINK to check ...

Thanks for your idea KolAsim I appreciate your time to assist me; problem is the "IFRAME and hidden page option" won't be an option as I want to add many different Amazon ad product codes to many different blog posts, which would mean I would have to create many hidden IFRAME pages. I really need the HTML code to work in the blog post itself.
Incomedia; do you have any input on this?
Thanks...
... OK ... however, since it is an extra, the limitation is not in the program, but in the script that is to be used in Object HTML Code ...

Yeah sure. But would be good if we could use ALL the X5 objects in the blog as well. I'll open an idea request.
Thanks :)
