Fields in a form to a database  en

I create a form to fill data in my database. I use the E-mail and Dynamic functions, where i create the form fields in the list to the database.

When i look at the result an unwanted field is added:

"Click to edit standard text".

This field is not in the field list and i cannot see where it comes from. How do i hide this field?

Hello Peter,

That sounds very much like the text which appears in the Dynamic Content Object by default.

https://help.websitex5.com/en/v2019.1/pro/index.html?ogg_dinamico_ht.htm

You can see it in the Language Content Management screen (Step 1 Settings > General tab > Content Language (click the icon to the far right of the Content Language field):

The text is editable, and you could probably delete it entirely, although I have not tried this.

Here are full instructions:

Kind regards,

Paul

Hello Peter,

Your screenshots confirm beyond all doubt that my assumption was correct.  The text you are seeing is the default text which appears in the Dynamic Content Object.  To get rid of the text you can either follow the instructions in my initial reply, or alternatively delete the Dynamic Content Object altogether.

Bear in mind that if there is no placeholder text at all in the Dynamic Content Object, then it could be a little confusing for a web visitor, as they would not necessarily be aware that they could interact with that part of the page.
