yesterday I have purchased the software and downloaded the latest version from Download section of this website. Trying to register and still having the same "error 204" issue.
I had tried to install the program on two different computers at work and home. These cmps hooked up to defferent ISP - same error.
And the program doesn't want to start until registration process complete.
I have to choices only: try again or quit the program.
It is really freaking me out for the first experience.

well, I fixed the "error 204" by following steps:
1. start registration from scratch. After copying serial number and type in email address hold the CTRL button and press Next semultaniously. You'll skip to offline registration.

2. You'll switch to a hidden offline registration window.
Follow offline unlock and registration instructions and get the license key. It will appear in a new tab of the browser. Copy and past in the WebSiteX5 window.
You may want to save serial number and the registration key in a text file. It may help again in a future.
