after recent upgrade X5 PRO and by consequence the site, some html code does not position well anymore on the page

our page counter was correctly postioned at the bottom of our page (next to 'number of visitors since...)

but after a recent upgrade of X5 PRO is not correctly positioned anymore in the production site (in preview mode locally it's OK) -> in production it appears in the left corner of the first line of the site

how can we solve this please ?

Hello Spring

Unfortunately, since this matter concerns custom code specifically, the Staff is unable to provide support for it.

I can see that in the browser console an error is also displayed. I'm led to believe that some recent change from HTTP to HTTPS might have been done and this caused issues to the script.

I would suggest looking into this first. Eventually, this is also the reason for the mistake in its placement

I will leave this topic open so that other users might stop by and help out with this as well

Thank you for your understanding

Stefano

Dear Stefano,

it might be coincidence, but the problem appeared after an upgrade of Website x5 PRO (and in preview mode of X5 all is fine), so we assume it is not only about the html-code (that didn't change : it was the same code before and after the upgrade of X5)

nevertheless your https hint solved it partly : now the counter appears again at the bottom of the page, where it should appear -> that's fine now  (we changed the http link to https)

only at the start of the page in the upper left corner, the counter is shown a second time (and that is not the intention)

best regards,

Hello Spring

It seems to me like the code might have been added twice in the project. Judging by the place where the erroneous counter is appearing, I'd say the wrong code has been added at Step 2, where I indicate in my screenshot:

Verify here first and eventually delete the code

Let me know if it is displayed correctly then

Thank you

Stefano
