Shopping Cart And Multiple Currencies
Autore: Derek TutillI am building a site for a customer here in New Zealand that sells products to Europe, Asia and the Americas. I want to be able to create seperate categories and product lists that reflect pricing appropriate to their region. For example the product sells in New Zealand for $15.31 NZD, in the US it sells for $13.10 USD. I have set up seperate categories and products for each region but can only seem to be able to select one currency in the "shopping cart/options/currency settings/currency" field.
This is as much about targetting prices to be competitive in larger markets as opposed to tagging it to a New Zealand dollar and then having to compensate for exchange rate flucuations.
Is this a bug or a feature?
Similarly I want to be able to select differing prices based on the quantity of items being purchased rather than to apply a discount. Are either of these things possible?

Folks, I guess conceptually what I am looking to do is have a single product which I can list at different dollar values, in different currencies and apply different tax rates.
Hello Derek,
if youwant to changethe currency, depending on the product,I would recommend youto create multipleprojectsdepending on the currencyand make somecategoriesdepending on the formdirectstheproject page, whereyou enteredthe currencies ofa determinated country. For make this you should use a same template and created different project for each currency setting.
