Function already in use

HI,
Is it possible to add some form of indication that an item is already in use.
For example: Under Settings/ Advanced. Access management. something like a green dot shwing it has already been accessed. In fact any items under the advanced settings. Another example would be Entry Page, if it had a green dot it could indicate you already have one in place.
Just a thought, there are other pages where it could apply as well.

Purpose is for 'newbies' to not continually go back over things they have already done.
Admitedly the professional users would be on top of this and not need it.
Something like a 'tick' attached to the graphic would show that this area had been visited already.
Even if the user had to apply the tick manually once they had set up an area or section and were happy with it.
It was just an idea.
If it has no relevance just ditch the thread.

expanding it could be a percentage complete. Obviously the pro's will know what they are doing without the aid memoir of how far they have gone with an area of development.
