if your R & D team is right now doing something to better/modernize the e-commerce part, here is my suggestion:

Since there are many users who are going to make web shops for clients - the following feature would make those kind of web-shops much more competitive.

This feature is:

BASIC PRODUCT MANAGEMENT via ONLINE control panel - this is something that our current clients (web shop owners) are SCREAMING FOR!!!

By basic product management, I mean this:

> changing the product's price
> adding/deleting product's image
> out of stock /on the stock option
> setting discounts

...and many more.

The point is - there is tremendous competition out-there who are offering the full CMS web-shops - and this new option will surely give us better "fighting-chance" to get some clients.
