Website x5 v9 evolution installation problem. Installing on Win Xp Professional. Install runs but fails to connect to internet to register the product with the product key. I have received my email and receipt containing this information but the downloaded install does not work. Product is installed to windows but I understand having read in this forum it should request product code during install. It fails in doing so hence the programme will not open or run. Help please. Thanks Stuart

Hi Pcssa

Thanks for your reply.  A couple of things I tried that seem to have done the trick.  Firstly, my antivirus programme is AVG and I updated that to the 2012 version whilst at the same time running a reinstall of Website X5 ev 9. So I wonder if the antivirus had been stopping a connection of the registration programme to the internet?  Certainly with the 'protection' removed the installation ran through fine.  Secondly, as I had read on replies elsewhere in the forum, that I found by searching via Google, updating Win XP using automatic updates may have also helped.  I had many security updates and parts of service packs to download.  So having switched off my machine and come back fresh to it today, seemingly suspending antivirus and updating the OS may have solved my problem.

Certainly whatever was lacking in my OS had been resolved with auto updates and also the switching off/effective removal of the antivirus when installing website X5 ev 9 has worked.  Having viewed the video tutorials after installation I am very excited to get going with the programme.  Here is my current site  http://www.stuartsyoga.co.uk

With the multi-language nature of replies and questions to the forum would it be possible to allocate questions replies by language?  So that French speakers can search and find replies in French, Italian in Italian, German in German etc?

I hope to have some pages to share with the community very soon and hope this answer may help others who may struggle as I did at first.

Many thanks

Stuart
