Blank canvas template

Hope you are all safe and well.
I currently use Website X5 Pro 17.1.2 (64 bit).
I want to use a completely blank canvas. I do not want Headers, Footers, Sidebars etc. I would like to add them as and when I require them.
I have gone to blank templates but this does not have the complely blank template.
Can this be done.

I no longer have version 17 installed. But until someone else comes along with a definitive yes/no answer to your question, it might be worth your while looking for an 'empty' template rather than a 'blank' template. WebSite X5 refers to a completely plain template as an empty one, and the help file for version 17 certainly seems to suggest it was there, just like it is in the newer versions:

Version 2020 certainly has the option, but I think the template selection process was slightly different in v17 (from memory!)

I posted same question in New project blank page in October 2018.
There are two attached projects: Blank.iwzip and Blank0.iwzip, I think created in ver.17.
I'm pretty sure you will be able to use one of them...
Geraint, yes you will need to use Tom's blank template, this "feature" did not appear until a later version (although I would like to add it is not difficult to remove all content in the "blank" v17 templates)
