Hi, I have never had any issues with X5 EVO before and I can't reinstall as I get the same error. I am getting a message which says c:\\windows\system32\ucrtbase_clr0400.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Does anybody know how this problem might be fixed? Many thanks.

ucrtbase_clr0400.dll file from Microsoft Corporation is part of Microsoft Visual Studio 2017.
You may need to reinstall Microsoft Visual Studio !
