satter E, if you have an iwzip file this would be a great time to import it (iwzip file is created in step5, export the project and contains a full backup including all source and support files).

Unfortunately the built in backup does not include library.xml (or other files required in a catastrophe).

Are you working with new or oldish hardware? If the hardware is aging, perhaps check disk (right click HD in windows explorer, properties, tools, check), you might get lucky.

PS an iwzip should be created regularly and should have the name changed to include the date at time of creation so you have multiple fallback positions.
