I would recommend Word - or the free version; Libre Office or Open Office.

This software can make good brochures. When you have the brochure ready it can be printed as a PDF-file.

Thanks, will look into but what I had in mind was one that is a PDF that has pages. Wasn't aware that you can do this with word.

Word can save in various formats - and one of them is PDF. I use it a lot, and it functions.

If you don't want to spend money on Word, then the free alternatives is nearly quite as good.

Word has a million more features than most people need - and the free office packages has nearly half a million more functions than most people need.

(It > En) ... ... keep in mind that the PDF format has never been a suitable format for the WEB, even if used by many ...
... a WEB expert, if he really can't do without it for the printing of forms, he would avoid it ...
... it would be much better to use the HTML format, a format specifically for the WEB, or in image format (images, galleries, slideshows, etc.)...

.

ciao

KolAsim has a point. But it depends on what it should be used for. If it is a e-brochure you will make available for download, then size is not important unless it will be a huge file. This is a normal way of making e brochures.

If it is for viewing in an iframe the size of the file matters.

PDF is not a bad thing for web, but performance can be bad because all the content is loaded at once. A web page is shown one by one.

A PDF can be made so it is suitable for web. At creation you can specify if it should be used for web. It is like an image - it can be in high quality = bigger file, or it can be in lower quality = smaller file.

Maybe you could have more brochures if there is a logical way to split up in types.
