Duplicate Page Titles and Tag Titles Problem 
Autore: Giulio V.I have had an issue with this X5 program showing as when I do a site audit.
https://prolinesystems.net/index.html And https://prolinesystems.net
I believe this is causing my Page Titles and some Meta Descriptions showing two times which is making the title too long.
This seems to be a high priority issue that needs to be fixed but I have no idea how to do this. I have gotten several suggestions in the past but without explicit instructions I am lost.
Is there an easy fix. A moderator named Franz had given some suggestions months ago but I was not able to comprehend how to use his suggestion.
Google is saying it needs to be directed to one or the other.
It should be going to https://prolinesystems.net Not to the https://prolinesystems.net/index.html
Am I getting Double Page Titles and Tag titles becausehttps://prolinesystems.net/index.html is not redirected to https://prolinesystems.net ?

It should be going to https://prolinesystems.net Not to the https://prolinesystems.net/index.html" - Add this line to your ".htaccess" file in your site root folder:
redirect 301 /index.html https://prolinesystems.net
"Am I getting Double Page Titles and Tag titles becausehttps://prolinesystems.net/index.html is not redirected to https://prolinesystems.net ?" - no. Adding text to the title can be enabled or disabled in the settings that I showed in the picture above.
