Sto esportando il sito in un nuovo host ma, al posto di aprire le pagine dal menu fa' il download della pagina!!
Gravissimo ma, non so' come rimediare..
Tutte le informazioni che chiede x5 sono corrette, parametri di esportazione anche quindi??
Come posso risolvere? devo cambiare host entro un mese. mi date una mano? Grazie

il problema che dici è al 99% un problema di Host...
dovuto ad esempio ad errori nel file htaccess oppure a servizi di cache attivi e malconfigurati sull'Host
Ti consiglio di sentire l'Host, a mio parere WebsiteX5 non centra.

I believe this is 100% a hosting issue. I had it myself! And, it is because either php or the webserver is misconfigured.
Instead of sending the code to php for processing/delivery, the webserver is just serving the php code as file.
Since you will be unable to access your.site/admin page, I would insist that a conversation with the host is needed, during which I would want to know the php version being used. And, confirm php session support.

Im using PHP 8.0 like other server Andy W.
I use PHP 8.0 too. This confirms that the version is supported. However, I insist that either PHP or the webserver (I don't remember which, sorry) is misconfigured.
If your hosting provider gives PHP options, I would go down to version 7.4, just for testing. If you are your own host, then you will need to look at your stack configuration.

Sono entrato in una pagina di amministrazione del tuo sito...
a me non pare una cosa normale !!!
Probabilmente hai attivato dei servizi che non andavano attivati ed hai lasciato delle "porte aperte" oppure hai acquistato un servizio che non va bene o non è compatibile con WebsiteX5

Ciao Claudio, mi sa che sei entrato in wild.. uno script che sto testando e che funziona benissimo.. Shop è e deve essere in una cartella il percorso è questo: https://www.youtoonetwork.com/shop se provi ad andare nel link vedo lo scherzo che fa'.. nel menu qualsiasi pagina invece di essere visualizzata, fa il download.. ho altri siti nello stesso host e funzionano tutti benissimo. solo shop non mi funziona perche l'ho fatto con x5. Continuo a provare e riprovare con varie soluzioni ma, niente fa' sempre lo stesso scherzo... Ho chiesto in supporto e mi dicono che è x5.. cavolo non so' piu che pensare.. Non voglio occupare altro spazio nel mio vps per shop a meno che ci sia la possibilita' in x5 di un ftp storage da puntare in questo host che ho spazio illimitato.
Si ok ... sarò pure entrato dove dici tu... ma mettici una password

Cercando la problematica che hai in rete, vedo solo segnalazioni di problemi con l'host...
A mio parere website non centra. Sei sicuro che puoi ospitare dei siti web in quello spazio ? Dato che parli di "ftp storage" ? Magari devi settare qualcosa sull'host per poterlo utilizzare come servizio web.
Rimani in attesa di altri pareri...

Ho altri 3 Host ed ogni volta ho problemi con x5 cosa puo' essere? Unico dove tutto funziona benissimo è proprio quello che voglio lasciare per il troppo poco spazio di storage.
Nel vps faccio tutto come voglio e... asp faccio un test sul vps esporto e poi ti dico.. ma il problema resta che voglio avere uno storage qui.

I have read about VPSs, but I've never had hands-on myself. I use D.E.L.Ls lol. How does one setup webserver blocks/vhosts on a VPS? And who is responsible for configuring PHP etc?
Please be assured, your issue is not with WX5. This much we know. And, because Incomedia provides hosting solutions to mitigate these types of problems, the default solution in this case is "talk to the provider".

I'm testing on the VPS by creating a "shop" subdomain I will soon be able to tell you .. In the vps I do everything myself and I have no problem with php settings or anything else ..

You are overlooking something, S. If you configure the shop.subdomain the same as your other blocks/vhosts, then the problem is not going to go away. You will kick yourself when you find the misconfiguration, trust me!

Confermo nel VPS tutto funziona.. mi tocca chiedere supporto in questo nuovo host! :(
Ok grazie comunque siete sempre tutti gentili ma......... Chiedo ancora una volta, come facciamo gia' in tanti la possibilita' per gli utenti, di loggarsi con le credeziali di facebook o altro.. ( ovviamente a carico del programmatore creare le app per il login ) è di estrema importanza e spero che lo staff si decida a fare questo al piu presto.

No Andy W. no problem, it's fine as always x5 obviously something is not working properly in this new host .. I had already talked about it with them but, they passed the problem to x5 for this I asked here.
The problem comes from them and now I'm sure in vps I use php8 and no particular additional functions.
The thing that tempts me is the unlimited space since I work with video, music and photography more than anything else .. But .. I'm still testing .. I must say that other sites work perfectly, go and see

Questo è nella sottocartella del sito fatto con website...
Ma sei sicuro che non ce ne sia uno a monte nella root con delle strane direttive... perchè è quello nella root che comanda.
Vedo che nel sito website funzionano solo le pagine con estensione .php , mentre quelle .html vengono scaricate...
Ripeto NON è un problema di website, ma di direttive sul tuo Host !
Forse , se non trovi il problema potresti aggirare , mettendo tutte le pagine del tuo sito .php

No, I use on-site servers, and currently have no reason to move to outside services.
If you used Nginx (like me) then I was going to check a couple of things with you. But since I don't/haven't used Apache, I can't really offer any insight with it.
But Claudio seems to be on the right track! Serving php and not html is very unusual to me.
