Need Help - Hamburger Menu Icon (iphone View only) I Can't Get Rid Of ...
Autore: Cf GuyHi All,
I have benefited immensely from the replies I have gotten through my posts on designing my first Website X5 Pro website.
Tonight I discovered a new issue I was wondering if I could get some help/advice with.
When in the "preview" mode, only in the iPhone (vertical) view, I am getting a black hamburger menu that I did not place, and have no idea how to find to get rid of it (as I already have a "sticky bar", top hamburger menu (with title) on all pages and views, which I specifically designed.
Additionally, when I click this black hamburger menu icon, a gray side menu of my website slides out from the left of the screen. I also posted a screenshot of this, as well. Again, this is not something I intentionally programmed, and it only appears in the vertical iPhone view of the website.
I have posted a screenshot of this menu graphic, and put a red circle around it, as it can be difficult to see, as well as a screenshot of the gray menu bar that appears from the left side of the screen when the black hamburger menu is clicked.
I have gone into the settings Template Structure as well as the Template Settings menus in the Website x5 Pro program, and am not able to find any trace of this back hamburger menu, or where a grey left, slide-out menu would be programmed to appear.
If anyone has any help or suggestions for me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your help with these issues.

Hello. In the header settings, switch to the "phone screen". Then you will see this menu and you can hide it.
Cf Guy, Aleksej is absolutely correct. If you provide a link to your website we may be able to offer an even more precise answer.

Hi,
Aleksej H. and Esahc, thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, I don't yet have the website "published" (a goal I have (hopefully) by the end of today), so I will let you know and be sure to keep you posted.
In the meantime, I did some more "independent research" of my own to attempt to troubleshoot the issue.
One thing that I was incorrect about is that this unidentified black hamburger menu is only appearing in the 480px (smallest) screen view. I also notice that on every page of my website where the unidentified black hamburger menu appears, it is in the "page" section (not header), as the black hamburger menu is always over or close to the first headline in each page (please see attached screenshot).
I then checked out every text" section of "pages" views for all pages on my website, and could not find the unidentified black hamburger menu in any "pages" views.
I then went to the "Template Structure" menu, and again was unable to find the unidentified black hamburger menu. I changed vie sixe to 480px (since this is the only view where the unidentified black hamburger menu appears (in "preview" mode), but as you can see in attached screenshot, the unidentified black hamburger menu did not show up.
Additionally, still in the "Template Structure" menu, I tried changing the background color in each section from "blue" to "white", as I thought perhaps the unidentified black hamburger menu would be easier to see. But even with "white" colored background sections, the unidentified black hamburger menu does not show up in the "Template Structure" menu at 480px (again, please see screenshot attached).
At this point I am out of ideas on how to be able to identify this unidentified black hamburger menu. Any thoughts or suggestions on what to try next?
If anyone has any help or suggestions for me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your help with these issues.

The hamburger button appears when the menu does not fit the width of the screen.
The menu can be in the header, footer of the site. It can also be on the page itself and on the sticky bar. First you need to find this menu.
Hi there!
Can you possibly post the link to your website?
Thanks! Kind regards.
