No email connection

Snag with emails last few days : - nothing !
so went to " http:-//cpanel. " etc etc but cannot login.
Tried 'reset password' using a talktalk.net & tiscali.co.uk email
addresses but
nothing comes through. Even tried a google address '.gmail.com' but
no joy.
All has been fine passed few years, no problems.
can I 'do' something to make contacts work ?

Hello. It is very difficult to give advice without knowing more detailed information.
1) I recommend using mail with your own domain. Create it on your hosting.
2) I recommend using SMTP. Find out all the necessary settings on your hosting.
3) If you are already using your mail, double-check your settings.
