If you cannot select several images while holding down the Shift key, then this Windows function is probably blocked by the program. In that case add picture by picture.

you can possibly press SHIFT and click on to open the usual Windows window and select multiple files there.

You could use an image album tool like LuxAlbum.

It can be set up to start in different ways - also slideshow. It can be set up to show captions and text - or not.

I use it in a lot of pages where I set it up as slideshow like here: https://bramminginfo.dk/flugt-museum.html

Here you see (some of) the same images as in the album when you click on "Varde" and then on "FLUGT Museum".

The images is geotagged and the position can be seen on GoogleMap by clicking the (M) when in "Manual view"

There is a lot of possibilities for configuration.

If you look here: https://bramminginfo.dk/udstillingsalbum/

And then click on "Den Smukke Stationsby" you will see the album start in "manual view". Here yos can see (I) info for the images (can be toggled on/off)

You could also use another album tool.

It gives the possibility to add images just by uploading the images to a filder via FTP - and then the images will automatically be included in an existing slideshow.
