Hi, I just purchased FULLSCREEN SCROLL TEXT and the email message said to install by going to OBJECT MANAGEMENT>LICENSED.
I don't see that option. Are there are guides on how to do this and use the FULLSCREEN SCROLL TEXT option.
Thanks Alan

Hi Daniel, I have already purchased the object (Fullscreen Scroll Text) but I can't see how to install it. Any clues? Thanks

I have now found out how to install FULLSCREEN SCROLL TEXT and tried it out on a test website: www.ajcnsw.com/oanew Can anyone explain why Page 1 does not show the full image (as attached). Thanks Alan
Alan, how are you including the image? Is it page background (step 3), a cell background (cell style) or row format (step 4)?
In each you have a number of options for how the image is placed.
You can also have some control (all pages) in step 2 template structure.

Hi Esahc, I am using the new object FULLSCREEN SCROLL TEXT which does not seem to have the options you mention. Attached is the screen I see after adding the FULLSCREEN SCROLL TEXT object. Am I missing something?

Hi again, meant to send this attachment as well which is what appears after opening the FULLSCREEN SCROLL TEXT object.
I do not have that object Alan, but can you change the colour to transparent and include no image (then all features I mentioned would be available)??
You could also try converting your image from png to jpg through the likes of irfanview, I have found that (malformed) png can cause issues in the past.

Thanks Esahc, it seems like this object only works with landscape images. In my test website www.ajcnsw.com/oanew I stretched the image to landscape on Page 1 and Page 2 left it as Portrait which explains my comments. I wonder if the designers of the object have any comment.
I don't have the object myself and I don't want to buy it just for text purposes. As it seems, the size of the background image is very important, see

How to define the background
Start by defining the Object background. Please consider that its height will automatically take on the browser window height: it will adapt and fit in the whole browser window.

The different browser window sizes must be taken into account, since the background image behaves differently depending on the width and height of the screen.
So place the small image as a copy in an image editing program in a large empty image and fill the space around it with the background color of the small image.
Test the page with the Fullscreen Scroll Text Object in different browser sizes and possibly on different devices to find a good compromise between the size of the background image and the placement of the small image on the larger background image.
In the case of large landscape pictures or other large pictures, it is not so bad if more or less large parts of the picture are not visible, since the subject of the picture is more decorative.

Thank you Daniel for your comprehensive comments. Regards Alan
If the intended image does not work, then use the image in the header and select a decorative image for the background of the full-screen scroll text object.
