Yesterday, with your help, we solved it so that I could enter the website X5 manager program from my website. I switched to PHP version 7.4 at my hosting provider. BUT, messaging and the webshop do not work on version 7.4. So I either use the website X5 manager program with PHP 7.4, but in this case the webshop and messaging do not work, and my website is worthless. Or I switch back to the PHP 7.3 version and then my site's webshop and messaging work, but in this case the website X5 manager does not work. Unfortunately, the IPAGE hosting provider only has the PHP version up to 7.4. There is no higher, only lower. You don't know a solution, because I want to use the X5 manager, but is my webshop more important?
Thank you again for your help!

Why are the old PHP versions used? My Hosteurope web hosting uses PHP 8.1.

If the web host only has PHP 7.4, then it would be time to switch hosts, because PHP 7.4 is outdated and is only offered in Germany at an additional cost (about 8 euros per month), while PHP 8.1 does not incur any additional costs.
I've chatted with IPAGE support now, but they don't know yet when PHP 8 will be available.
Apparently it's in the works though, so wait and see.
Then the only thing that remains is to set the PHP version so that the shop runs and to switch to the other PHP version in quiet times in order to use the WebSite X5 Manager.

Well then, looks like I'll have to wait for now...

Maybe there is no one here who can tell me what I should fix or write in the IPAGE 7.3 php.ini to run the website X5 manager? Because it can be improved here, and maybe if I could improve something in it, the dashboard would also be able to run, not just the webshop. So is there anyone here who is proficient in php programming? Maybe one of the X5 developers? I would really appreciate it.
There is a very long list of settings for the php.ini file, but the normal web hosting customer is not allowed to change anything here, only a few PHP settings via the customer area.

ipage allows anyone to write their php.ini file or edit it...
Ok, then the experts can say whether and how something can be done about it.
I'm not an expert and I don't know how and if you could even use PHP 8 commands with PHP 7.4.
